We are a group of international researchers and professionals dedicated to supporting and promoting underrepresented genders in concentrated solar technologies. Underrepresented genders include cis women, trans women, trans men, non-binary people, and people who may be questioning their gender. We work in various fields and at different career levels, passionate about sharing our knowledge and expertise in concentrated solar technologies.
We decided to create this group at the SolarPACES 2022 conference where we held our first meeting. Only a week after we announced the creation of the group on LinkedIn, we had more than 100 members joining and supporting the initiative. Those who joined the group are very diverse, representing numerous fields of studies and different career levels in public or private sector. Currently, members originate from more than 15 countries.
Our actions are coordinated by an active and dedicated team from diverse backgrounds.
